Kaiden's 1st Haircut

Kaiden went for his first haircut on August 29th. He was not sure about what was going on even though he has witnessed many of Isaac's haircuts. He was a little squirmy and irritated at first and then Isaac began to blow bubbles. Kaiden loved that and sat for the remainder of the haircut as happy as can be. Here are pictures of the before, the in between, and the after.

Here are just a few pictures of Kaiden and Isaac. We are so blessed to have such healthy, happy, wonderful boys. They love eachother more than anything and have so much fun together.

Isaac's 1st Day of School

Isaac is now in the 6th grade at Woodlawn Elementary. Here is a picture of him on the first day of school for the 2007-2008 school year. This is his last year at Woodlawn. He is getting ready to start playing the violin.

A day in the pool

We purchased a cheap fill up on your own swimming pool from Walmart this summer. We have used it a few times in the backyard. Kaiden loves splashing in the water. Here are a few pictures of Kaiden in the pool.

Pittsburg, KS #2

We stayed the night in Pittsburg an went by to visit Pittsburg State University the next day. They are the Gorillas. I love gorillas so we took a few pictures at the University by the Gorillas and by the Pittsburg State Veterans Memorial.

Pittsburg, KS

We recently made a trip to Pittsburg, KS for Joette and JJ's wedding reception. We were unable to attend the wedding in Mexico but we weren't going to miss the reception. We took Isaac and Kaiden with us and they had a wonderful time. Isaac spent the evening playing the air guitar, dancing with Kaiden, and blushing over a cute 10-year-old girl named McKenzie. Kaiden spent his evening eating and dancing. Kaiden loves to dance. We ate great food and had a great time. Maurice especially enjoyed the friend chicken from Chicken Annie's.

Washington, D.C.

Here are some great memories from D.C. Our favorite sites were the capitol building, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and of course the White House. G.W. was in one of the helicopters spotted in the picture of the Washington Monument.

Virginia Beach Virginia

We recently took a trip to Virigina Beach and Washington DC. We had a wonderful time at the beach swimming, playing in the sand and driving the car you have to pedal. Isaac especially like driving while Kaiden rode in the front. Maurice and I loved the beauty of the scenery and watching the sun set on the beach. Maurice found the chair he is sitting on and after he sat down he realized why it was left.
